  1. I think they had a large stock as I know in NYC the Virgin Megastore and the Borders I go to, seem to have had the same stock of these Deluxe versions sitting on the shelves since it’s release. It was way too expensive for the average fan (though I did save up for it and purchase it on sale on the release date)– but, otherwise, I just couldn’t afford to walk in off the street and pay way over $100. for this set. For me as Beatles collector and movie collector, I needed this not for the packaging but to have a anontated copy of Lester’s script and reproduction lobby cards and that’s why I saved up for it in advance.

  2. It’s already changed back to $121.00 as of 8AM PST. Oh well.

  3. I’m thinking it may have been their daily deal for yesterday; they run killer deals every day, for one day only. For instance, last week I got the Monty Python 16-Ton Boxset for forty dolalrs. Next day? Back up to regular price.

  4. I agree that it is a tad expensive, but I found a amazon coupon code and got 10% off with free shipping. Yeah!

  5. I just did a % off search on the Beatles via http://www.discount-hunt.com and they still have some nice discounts and various items.
