Heather Mills settles in New York apartment

I wonder how many of our lady Beatles readers have seen the Sex And The City movie? It seems like every woman I know has seen it. Several times. I haven’t seen it, but occassionally watched the tv show version when it was first run on cable. And I have had some funny  conversations about rabbits, but I have learned to leave that subject alone. Now, imagine in the role of Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) instead played by Heather Mills.

Ok, now that you have objected to that image, there is truth behind that image! Seems as though in her settlement money, she decided that New York is where she’d rather stay. So, five million dollars later, and she has a new pad. The irony is, it is on the same street as the fictional character Carrie Bradshaw lived. Maybe the next $5,000,000 will be spent on shoes.

Heather Mills

Here’s what we’ve read:

Washington (ANI): Heather Mills has closed in on a new apartment in New York City. Mills, who won a divorce settlement of 50 million dollars from former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney, earlier this year, was rumoured to be on the hunt for a new pad in the Big Apple and Los Angeles, and has been spotted house-hunting on both coasts.

The former glamour model closed the deal on a full-floor condominium in the city”s celebrity-studded West Village area – after passing an extensive overview with the building”s board members, steered by designer Calvin Klein. Mills signed the contract in June ( 08 ) for the two-bedroom Perry Street pad, reportedly paying just under the $5 million (GBP2.5 million) asking price, reports Contactmusic.

Heather Graham will be living on the very same street where Sarah Jessica Parker”s Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw lived in the show.
