Paul McCartney Writes Song For Heather Mills

Did you all really think that Paul would not write any songs for Heather during their short tenure together?  Whether you agree with their union or not, as Paul fans, we all have to understand the fact that she was and will be a part of his life.  I know that sounds a little dramatic, but as fans we have to realize that she will be a part of his music as well.  Paul is only human.  I know that some fans still have a problem with the Paul-Heather union, and that’s understandable.

We also know, and widely, acknowledge that John Lennon wrote deeply personal songs often times including very direct lyrics.  Paul’s body of solo work is often examined as fluffy and too poppy to be examined.  If you were to look at his lyrics, especially of late, you would see some deeply personal, poetic moments that stand write up their with Lennon’s direct and often times scathing lyrics.  We’re not saying that they are all deeply emotional, I mean there are some “silly love songs” as well, but what’s wrong with that?

Here’s what we’ve read.

Paul McCartney has revealed that one of the song’s on his latest album, ‘Memory Almost Full,’ is about his estranged wife Heather Mills.

The former Beatle has confessed that, ‘See Your Sunshine,’ was written when the couple were experiencing happier times.

“That is pretty much an out-and-out love song for Heather. A lot of the album was done before, during and after our separation. I didn’t go back and take out any songs to do with her.”

He added: “That one was written during a good time with Heather. I’m not a great grudge-holder. It’s just unfortunate it didn’t work out,” reports dotmusic.

McCartney’s solo album became the most successful of his career when it was released earlier this month in the US and worldwide via Starbucks’, Hear Music record label.

As we reported yesterday, McCartney is already planning to release a follow-up album on the Coffee chain’s new label.

  3. in my opinion,it’s always amazing and respectful to see and to hear that a songwriter,a musician a singer can writing a song about his lover, his wife,…..it’s always a good thing!when i listening songs like for example:”Something”,”my love”,”Woman”,”i really think that to love someone could be the most beautiful thing that can happen to you. you know,it’s life!and i think songs born by life experiences could be the most tragic but even the most beautiful one!
