Paul McCartney reveals new album title?

Could it be that the title for Paul McCartney’s next album has been leaked?  For his next studio album, Paul worked with producer David Khane, who produced Driving Rain.  We have read reports that this album will not contain unused tracks from either Driving Rain, or Chaos and Creation in the Backyard.  This news contradicts previous reports that we heard a few months back that there were indeed leftovers from the previous two albums.  It looks like the album is expected to drop on June 5th.

Previous album outtakes or not, we are sure hyped about Paul’s new album tentatively titled, Memory Almost Full.  There have been reports that this was simply a working title used back in the Driving Rain sessions, but that report may be erroneous as well.  We will all have to wait and see. There have been spottings of this new title at: amazonUK, an AOL discography site, as well as a Vh1 artist page for Paul McCartney.  We will let you know as soon as the reports are completely confirmed.  We wil keep you up to the minute.

Here’s what we’ve read.

McCartney takes a look back at his life on his new album, which he worked on with Strokes producer David Kahne and which will be the first album released on Starbucks’ new Hear Music label. McCartney played most of the instruments on this collage-style disc, which includes a fifteen-minute Abbey Road-style suite. “It’s him being reflective,” says Glen Barros, CEO of Starbucks partner Concord Music Group. “You can hear real elements of the Wings and Beatles eras.”
