Jacko jets into town to sell Beatles to Macca?

Could it possibly be true?  Could Michael Jackson really be selling The Beatles’ catalog shares back to none other than Paul McCartney.  I guess it would be a win-win situation for all involved.  Not only would Paul get things back (so sorry I had to make the pun) to where they once belonged, but this sale may, too, be a turning point for Michael as well.  Imagine a PR blitz, where he could return to the good graces for many music fans worldwide.  The sale to Paul seems to feel like an apology in a way.  A sale to McCartney serves as an olive branch for Jackson to many.

Not only would Paul get what he wants, but Jackson could staighten out his affairs as well. Hopefully, they are able to come to some kind of agreement about the catalog.  It only seems right that the catalog returns to the proper owner.  We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear more details.

Here’s what we’ve read.

The ego has landed! Michael Jackson jetted into London yesterday with his two kids – Prince, 10, and Paris Michael, nine.

With their faces obscured by scarves as usual, the poor children looked like mini-versions of movie character ‘The Invisible Man’

The King of Pop, 48, is rumoured to be in town to meet with Sir Paul McCartney’s people to discuss selling his £200 million Beatles back catalogue. He is being forced to sell off part of his catalogue to stave off bankruptcy.

Michael outbid Sir Paul and Yoko Ono in 1985 for ownership of over 200 songs. Sir Paul has never made a secret of his desire to win back the Fab Four’s repertoire, so could a deal be in the offing?
