VIDEO: Dhani Harrison thenewno 2 “new” music video.
Posted on March 5, 2008 by Matt
Dhani Harrison’s band thenewno 2 had released an EP in 2006. It garnered good reviews, and everyone talked of his resemblance to his father. Not only does he looks like his famous father, but he sounds like him vocally as well as in his guitar stylings.
Dhani and Oli Hecks have released a new video. Could a full-LP be far behind? We’ll keep you posted. God, we love his style…

He looks and sounds eerily likeGeorge… but he’s not quite there.
God bless him, but boy if this were anything other than a Beatles son…it is mediocre… at best. Blessings!!
I didn’t realise how much I missed George until I saw and heard this. There are moments where the two really cross.
I’m not crazy about this particular song or video, but there’s no doubt George is watching over Dhani and is quite proud of his son.
Correction…I like the Choose What You’re watching video…and the promo video…but they really should’ve included the Beatles holding their logo, don’t you think?
I can’t stop listening to ‘Another John Doe’ - same thing happened with ‘People’ and ‘Lord Lord’ - the name of their first album will be ‘You Are Here’… couldn’t help but think of Geo’s song.
Ack, so sorry, that was John. Nevermind!
What are you talking about? This sounds nothing like George. Dhani’s style is much more modern, ambient, hazy, I don’t know how else to describe it. If anything he has a *better* singing voice than his father.
Also, Dhani has a BIG imagination. . .
GoRetroGirl, they probably thought of that, but decided to show that other people could be fans of newno2 besides dad and his bandmates.

An apple from the George tree. Not bad.
