Ringo Starr has confirmed on his website that he will appear as a presenter at the Grammy Awards Sunday night. Here’s the statement from the site:
Tune in to the 50th Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday, February 10 (8pm EST/PST on CBS in the U.S.; please check local listings internationally). Ringo Starr and his Liverpool 8 co-producer and collaborator Dave Stewart will present an award together, and that’s not all! The Beatles’ LOVE is nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media & Best Surround Sound Album! The Grammy telecast will also feature a special Cirque du Soleil performance from the ‘Beatles LOVE’ show. The Best Surround Sound Album Grammy Award will be presented at the pre-telecast awards, which will be webcast LIVE from Los Angeles at http://www.grammy.com(1:30pm PST / 4:30pm EST).
