Back in November we reported that the power pop group The Smithereens were doing a note for note cover of one of the all-time great albums Meet the Beatles. I am usually not a fan of tribute records at all. I will make an exception for this one however. You can tell that the boys are simply having fun, playing faithful renditions of songs they love. It is truly a treat, and I recommend picking it up.
