This is such a cool way to celebrate an anniversary. This is something that I would love to see. Could you imagine reliving the day that rock and roll, as we know it, was birthed. It’s like seeing one of those recreations of the Big Bang on the NOVA channel. How cool is that.
Here’s what [...]

It looks like Paul is getting one of the last words by swiping his own Picasso paintings out from under the soon-to-be ex-Mrs. McCartney. I can just imagine what it was like for her to come home to her lowly country estate and have sirens going off. I mean, really, that must have [...]

The stories of the Yoko blackmail scheme over the past few weeks have really been creepy. If you really look back and look at the past with rabid, lunatic, Beatle fans…there isn’t the best track record with wackos. Well, it looks like there is one less Beatle wacko in the world. This story made me [...]

Last year my brother went to England I was steaming jealous. Here is is poor older brother who has never been across the pond, and this little (OK well he’s not so little) ‘er young man is stealing his thunder. Of course my first question was, “Which Beatles site did you see first?” To my [...]

Maybe Paul didn’t learn from the Lennon musical, or the film Give My Regards to Broadstreet….no actually this sounds like a lovely affair. I hope it is a success. Maybe he shoud mashup/remix The Liverpool Oratorio ala The Beatles’ LOVE. I supposed that’s not in the spirit of this stage show.
Here’s what we’ve read.
At the end [...]

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday, we certainly did. This article came out yesterday, and I think it is such a weird article to appear on Christmas day. I guess the paper was trying to snag those Beatlemaniacs with some extra holiday gift ideas. Yes, yes there are a zillion books written about the Fab [...]

Happy Holidays to you all. If updates are few and far between over the next couple days, have no fear we will return on Tuesday. Happy Xmas!
In case you didn’t know…Happy Xmas (War Is Over) is a song that was written by John Lennon with partial help from Yoko Ono. It was recorded at the [...]

Paul just cannot catch a break, but for once I think I may concur. The review on the website is particulary harsh, but absolutely hillarious. For most of us die-hard fans, I know that we’ve at least thought a few of those sentiments about this song. As cheesy as this song is…it is a guilty [...]

It looks like Paul McCartney does regret not finishing the third Lennon-penned tune from the Anthology project. To me, the title of the Macca-Harrison track sounds like that song from the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves movie. I liked the two released singles quite a bit, and I think that was enough. I have heard [...]

It looks like there may be a new edition of John Weiner’s book which contained the bulk of John Lennon’s FBI papers and notes…HA HA HA. They finally come to their senses and are deciding to release the entire FBI file on John Lennon. PHEW! That national security threat that is contained can now be [...]
